← LoquenRelease notes
Loquen 1.0.0
- The standard Mac release includes a 7-day free trial.
- Local Qwen speech recognition and medical vocabulary packs support on-device dictation after the initial model download. Medical accuracy is not guaranteed; review dictated text before relying on it.
- Guarded insertion validates the destination and does not automatically retry an uncertain paste.
- The listening cue waits until the current microphone capture accepts input, reducing false-ready starts. It is not a hardware timestamp or a guarantee that no initial speech can be lost.
- Conservative clinical punctuation checks protect wording such as negations and instructions.
- Long dictations avoid some redundant boundary work while retaining completeness checks. Speed varies with recording length, Mac load and cleanup options.
- History keeps transcripts and normally keeps the most recent 50 recordings locally for Retry. “Keep all audio” retains more, and original recordings or transcripts can remain in local History after redaction until deleted under History controls.
- Live licence activation uses Loquen’s production product.
- Test-mode keys and keys for a different product or variant are rejected.
Loquen 0.1.2
- Setup needs two permissions now, Microphone and Accessibility, both with real macOS prompts. Input Monitoring is no longer required; it appears only as a fallback if Accessibility is declined.
- Cleanup no longer adds words after what you said.
- Usage descriptions and app category added. Release builds no longer carry the debug entitlement.
